One of A Kind Education

COVID-19 has altered our lives in many ways – but we have continued to do our life saving work of rescuing, treating and caring for the many cats, dogs, kittens and puppies in need. We are committed to our mission of saving lives!

As an example of our work, this past weekend we rescued 28 dogs, many moms and their puppies from a hoarding situation. Sadly, there are many animals that find themselves in undesirable conditions. This happens for many reasons but one is what is called a hoarding situation, which means that the owner(s) are not able to provide the care needed for them to thrive. 

Since then, we have assessed their conditions, treating medical conditions (if they have them), cleaned them, and now will begin the work of assuring they are properly socialized and ultimately ready for adoption. Many of these furry friends will be placed in foster care for the love, companionship, and socialization that they so desperately need.
