One of A Kind Education

Did you know that fundraising is the primary way in which we pay our staff and care for our pets? As a non-profit, every dollar of revenue earned, and every dollar donated is re-invested into our mission of saving pets in imminent danger. Because we focus on those companion pets most in need of medical attention, this causes our costs to be a bit higher than many other organizations who only focus on re-homing an animal.

As many of our loyal followers are aware, we have recently closed our clinic until we are able to re-staff a team of veterinary professionals. We are committed to moving our mission forward and working towards a grand re-opening in the near future. In the meantime, however, we could really use the help of our friends, followers, family, adopters, and supporters to help carry us through this trying time. Our goal is to continue rescuing and providing medical care during this time when our clinic is not able to provide it.

  Follow us on Facebook to learn about our upcoming fundraising events and opportunities. We always try to create a good time!
• Events
  Attend our events that are listed in the Events section of our website or in the email newsletter we send out. We are all happy to be back out among one another after a terrible pandemic year, let’s make the most of it by supporting a good cause!
• Amazon Smile
  While shopping on Amazon, choose One of A Kind Pet Rescue as your charity of choice for Amazon Smile. It is super easy, works just as regular Amazon shopping for you, but we receive a small donation from each purchase you make. A way to give without even realizing it!
• Chewy
  Visit our Chewy wish list to shop from your home for our rescues. Not only does this relieve some of our operational expenses, but it also provides extras for our shelter pets who may not have it otherwise
• Network for Good
  In lieu of birthday gifts, hold a Facebook fundraiser for us through Network for Good. This is an amazing way to do a wonderful thing and friends are usually very supportive. The funds come straight to our PayPal account.
• PayPal
  Feel free to visit our website at any time to donate safely and securely through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to do so, credit cards are accepted.
• Get the kids involved!
  Many children in our area have been exercising their entrepreneurial skills and holding lemonade stands and bake sales for us. You have no idea how much we appreciate their efforts and love to give them proper credit! The kids get so excited to deliver their donations, visit with the pets, and have a photo opportunity!

  We are always in need of consumable items at our rescue, and so appreciate the generosity and kindness of our community. Please locate our donation list on our website.
• Tax Deduction!
  Every donation to One of A Kind qualifies as a tax deduction. Please think of our rescue when you are thinking of tax deductions!
