BECOME A FOSTER
Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of animals? We are in urgent need of foster homes for various reasons, and your help can save countless lives. Becoming a foster parent may come with challenges, but the rewards are immeasurable. Our dedicated foster coordinators are eager to talk to you. Let us know what you’re most interested in fostering!
We have the following foster needs and more:
- Pregnant/nursing moms
- Orphaned puppies and kittens that need bottle fed
- Orphaned puppies and kittens that are weened
- Pets healing from serious illnesses or injuries
- Hospice care
- Pets waiting to be fixed and vaccinated
- Foster-to-adopt
Foster parents at One of a Kind Pet Rescue ALWAYS get first dibs on adopting their fosters. The adoption process is typically completed on surgery day. This compassionate approach not only saves pets from living at the rescue but also provides a remarkable pathway for them to find loving forever families.

Please make an appointment to meet the many "One of A Kind" cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies looking for their forever homes. Walk-ins are admitted as occupancy safely allows at the time of your visit.
