One of A Kind Pet Rescue’s mission is to save, heal and adopt the many pets looking for their forever homes. We rescue pets in all shapes and sizes, and many different breeds – they are all “one of a kind!” Sadly, some do arrive with or develop medical needs. These needs can range from eye enucleations, limb removal, foreign body removal, cesarean section, mass removal, knee surgery, heart surgery – just to name a few.

To provide the care these deserving pets need comes with a cost and we have been fortunate to have a very supportive community of followers who have helped to provide the monetary resources allowing us to care for their special medical needs.

Lady needs your help

We are now asking for your support for Lady. Lady is a sweet 9-month old American Pit Bull Terrier. Lady is a sweet young pup who has a major medical need. Due to what is believed to be a genetic condition, she needs double knee surgery. Each knee surgery will cost $3,000. Lady’s adopters will tell you that she is a wonderful, loving girl – sadly she cannot enjoy her puppyhood due to the continuous pain she is in.
